11 nominations rejected for MLC elections
Kakinada:Eleven nominations filed by candidates for the Graduates’ constituency in the Godavari districts for the Legislative Council elections were rejected by the election officer and Eluru district collector K. Vetri Selvi. After the scrutiny of nominations, 43 candidates remain in the fray.
Candidates can withdraw their nominations by February 13. The rejected nominations include those of Rayudu Srinivas, Kondapalli Srinivas, Settibathula Rajababu, Md Ali Jam Sheed, D.K.V. Prakash, K. Raja Keerthi, Merla Srivani, J. Dayakar, P. Pratap and N. Ramakrishna.
