Chilling new details emerge in the drug death of Corey Feldman’s drummer

It turns out Corey Feldman was right all along about the tragic death of one of his former drummers – Duke Gadd – after the late musician’s family pressured him to delete his memorial post.

The Clark County Coroner spokesman confirmed to TMZ on Thursday that the Las Vegas-based percussionist’s cause of death was from the ‘combined toxic effects of fentanyl and cocaine.’

Duke also suffered from high blood pressure, and he was only 41 when his body was discovered on February 12.

Gadd – who was the nepo baby of of Grammy winner Steve Gadd – was in the midst of recording his first solo album with visuals titled Melomaniac Graffiti, which was supposed to drop later this year.

In his since-deleted Instagram post, the 53-year-old eighties icon had claimed the rocker had died from ‘a fentanyl overdose,’ which angered Carol Gadd who believed her son had died from a heart attack.

‘He was beyond talented and had a [great heart] but was poisoned by his own struggles in life,’ Corey – who boasts 505K social media followers – wrote on February 13.

‘What a tremendous loss of a talented young man gone far too soon! My heart hurts losing another friend to the throws of drug addiction and the insane fentanyl crisis that’s taken over our country! My condolences to all his friends and family! #ripdukegadd.’

Feldman was only 20 when he completed a 10-month rehab stint in 1991 for heroin addiction, which he blamed on alleged childhood abuse by his mother Sheila and alleged sexual abuse by Hollywood figures like agent Marty Weiss.

The former child star – who was emancipated by age 15 – had enjoyed quite a successful streak starring in blockbusters like Gremlins (1984), The Goonies (1985), Stand by Me (1986), and The Lost Boys (1987).

Corey’s last onscreen gig was being the Seal in the 11th season of Fox celebrity singing competition The Masked Singer a year ago where he made it nine episodes before being eliminated.

In 2018, Feldman denied a slew of sexual harassment accusations from his former Corey’s Angels band members Jacqueline Von Rueden, Poeina Suddarth, Margot Lane, Chantal Knippenburg, Amy Clark, Mara Moon, Jezebel Sweet, and Krystal Khali.
